ISSPRO, Inc. has released a new data logger accessory for the Performax Gauge System. The Performax Data Logger, which sells for around $100, is a small interface module that downloads data into a standard laptop personal computer.The data logger plugs into the truck harness in place of any Performax gauge, and connects to a standard USB port on a laptop PC. Installation is simple, and can be achieved without leaving the cab of the vehicle. The proprietary software included with the data logger displays the real-time values of each of the sensor inputs to the Performax Electronic Signal Processor ( ESP ). It also creates a running file in a spreadsheet format which can be read directly into Microsoft Excel for graphing, printing and analysis. The values are sampled approximately 5 times per second. The Performax Data Logger is an effective, low cost diagnostic tool, and can also be used by the diesel enthusiast to monitor vehicle performance in competitive events.
